Teaching Award for Prof. Alisa Machner

On April 17, 2026, Alisa Machner received the Teaching Award from the Free State of Bavaria. The award was presented during the “Bayerischer Tag für Gute Lehre”, held this year at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Augsburg.
The award, granted by the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, honours outstanding commitment and innovative, student‑centred teaching at Bavarian higher education institutions. The Bavarian Day for Good Teaching also serves as a platform for exchange and discussion on current developments in higher education teaching across institutions. As part of the further programme of the day, Prof. Machner illustrated her teaching philosophy and concept in form of a Pecha-Kucha presentation.
